Rail Application Gearboxes
Rj Link International, Inc. continues to support customers in numerous essential markets through these unprecedented times. Internal measures have been implemented to protect the health of all employees while continuing to support customers with the service and product quality that is expected.
As the Rj Link team continues to work on new development projects, parts and gearboxes are flowing through the shop. The custom gearboxes pictured above are shipping out to a customer for a railcar application. The gearboxes were designed using a heavy duty high torque design, that includes a course type and carburized high strength gearing system. In this application, the gearbox needs to be able to withstand the high break away torque capacity, and shock loading characteristics.
