A company contacted Rj Link for a solution to a badly damaged pinion gear.  Due to the shape the gear was in, there was a concern that the mating gear might have damage as well.  Rj Link’s engineering team started off by confirming the correct centerline distance with the customer.  The team proceeded to reverse engineer the pinion gear, and utilized the large mating gear to help verify that both gears would mesh properly.
