Rj Link adds gear grinding

Rj Link International, Inc. purchased a Hofler Helix 400SK to supplement its gear manufacturing capabilities. The machine was featured at the recent IMTS in Chicago and was delivered to the Rj Link facility at the close of the show. The Helix 400SK is particulary suited for Rj Link’s strength in providing custom gearboxes and precision machined components with low to modest volumes.

This machine is capable of grinding gears up to nearly 16″ in diameter – to an AGMA class 12 standard. Rj Link provides custom gearboxes, many of which require ground gears to achieve quiet running and to maximize life and load capacity. As these requirements become important to more and more customers, Rj Link will be prepared to meet the challenge!

This gear grinding capability broadens the range of gears that can be provided. Rj Link also provides gear grinding sevices for other gear manufacturers.
